"Yeah, but all you'd have to say to blackmail me is to threaten to tell my parents that I started a conversation with you," Ange pointed out, shrugging. "That'd be fun though, now wouldn't it?" she asked with a smirk.
"Well, yeah, we probably are," she told him, shrugging. "But then again nothing like a reject to change the entire family, right? My mum isn't much of a Malfoy either. But she's sure as hell better than I am at fitting in with them."
She smirked slightly. "Don't be upset though. If you got upset I'd have to make you laugh. I'm not good at making people laugh."

He laughed. "Come on, now that was TOO easy." Crossing his arms, he smiled. "But, you know, it's kinda like Romeo and Juliet, with out the romance, and the message of 'When in doubt, kill yourself.'" He snickered at his comparison, and then looked at her. "Honestly though, I wouldn't be able to blackmail you. Or anyone for that matter. My mom would know, and life would NOT be pretty." He shugged, "But, she's probably like it if I said I was talking to you..." He bagan to laugh. "I take that back!"

"Yeah, why would the message of your story be 'When in doubt, kill yourself'?" Ange asked, blinking several times. She wasn't exactly familiar with anything Muggle-like... or most literature at all, really. "I mean, you might as well say, 'Bob went out for a date but his girlfriend dumped him so he killed himself'." Alright, that might be exaggerating it a bit...
"I couldn't blackmail you. I could blackmail other people and my parents wouldn't care, but if I blackmailed you they'd know that I'd been talking to you." She smiled. Her parents were odd. She knew that.
"Is that supposed to mean something?" she asked, laughing softly and turning back to him with a slight smirk.

He looked at her, slightly amused. "Romeo and Juliet? You ahve never heard of the tragic love story about two lovers, to young to really understand?" He snorted. "Some Malfoy YOU are." Wyatt pulled out a pack of gum, and offered her a peice, popping one into his own mouth. "I mean, your family is FULL of Romeo and Juliet stories."

Ange shook her head. "Nah. My parents wouldn't let me near Muggle literature. Then there's the fact that I kind of grew up with my life circulating around Quidditch. So I never did much reading at all."
She rolled her eyes. "Love doesn't exist in my family. It's all this stuff about 'marry this person because they have money and power' or 'end it with that person because they're half-blooded', or... well, you get the idea. Or you should, anyways. Basically, there is no love, and there is no tragedy, otherwise it leads to the great dishonour of having your face burned off of our family tree."
She took a piece of gum, biting back on her lip before deciding that the gum would probably taste better. "I mean, there are those people that don't listen to their parents and will go off and do whatever they want, but then they're not considered part of the family anymore."

"You know," Wyatt smiled at her. "Juliet says, 'My only love sprung from my only hate!' It reminds me of something..." He sighed, and leaned his head against the tree. "You're 5th year, correct? And you're in Ravenclaw... I cannot beleive we have not spoken before. It's as if I was living in a fog." He explained, shifing to sit on his knees. "Why do you love the tree so much?" He asked, his mind pondering over loveless marrige.

"What does it remind you of?" Ange asked, blinking several times and giving him a quizical look. Well, yeah, if you wanted to know something, ask. People weren't just going to tell you.
"Nah, you probably wasn't," she told him. "I might have been though." She smiled slightly. "I'm usually with my brother. Though he's a Slytherin so otherwise I'm just... out here."
"I like the tree because..." She paused, frowning slightly. "Because in my first year I came out here. And I just sat out here. And I remember thinking that it was the best time that I'd ever had at Hogwarts because..." She shrugged. "I don't know, when you're the only Malfoy in Ravenclaw people tend to get upset at you. A lot. For no reason."

He smirked slightly. "I won't get upset at you. Nah, you see, because you haven't given me a reason to." He got up, and gestured to the Lake. "Do you wanna walk around it?" He asked, putting his book carefully on top of his notebook and messenger bag. He straightened his tie, and his vest, awaiting an answer from Angelina. He was thinking about the other Malfoys, and what they might do to HIM. What if they did find out? Or worse, his mother found out!? He gave an involuntary shudder.

"Ah, but I got to witness you blushing," Ange told him with a slight smirk. "Isn't that enough reason to get upset? I'm glad you won't though. Because there are a million things I can do to people that get upset at me."
She got up, using the hand that she had her schedule scribbled on to push herself up, against the trunk of the tree. "Okay." Pfft, what else was she going to say? No? Certainly not. She was one of those people that /needed/ someone to talk to.

"No, not really." He said, smiling at her and walking around the edge of the lake. "But, you know, if you had said no, i would of had to force you to come. You see, I'm the kind of person that NEEDS someone or something to talk to. And yeah," He grinned to himself. "I said 'something'." He waited for her response, making his way around a rock by the Lake.

"I don't talk to random things," Ange told him with a slight grin. "Just to myself. But I'm still a person. Last I checked. What /do/ you talk to though?" The only inanimate object she'd ever spoken to, actually, was the tree. Yes, the tree. What was with her obsession with the tree? She didn't know, neither did she care. She just loved that tree. It was hers. Well, now it was theirs, but until about fifteen minutes ago it'd been hers.
"But I imagine talking to things would be fun," she added for good measure. "Not like I'd know, so I can't judge..." She shrugged, following after him.

Lila walked out the door of the Entrance Hall. She had grown bored of sitting in the common room with no one to talk to. She thought someone would be outside. She scanned the Grounds and saw no one until she looked at the lake. There she saw two figures standing by a tree talking.
She walked over, close enough to see them. She didn't know either of them, but she was close enough that if she waked away they would notice she had been standing there. She walked over and said,"Hey!"

His green eyes widened. "You talk to the tree! I have been coming to that tree every day to talk since first year!" he exclaimed, taking her wrist in excitement. Immediately, he let go, his face blushing. "Hullo..." He muttered to the girl inturupting on their private time. "who are you?"
