Having just gotten out of one of her favorite classes, she was in a wonderous mood. Ancient Ruins was a study that ahd always sparked her interest. For some reason, she loved History. History of Magical, Muggle History, Ancient Ruins, anything, really. Strange, yes, for a fifteen year old teenage girl to be so interested in such, but she really couldn't help it. She was told her father had been, too, thus it must have been a passing of genes. But no matter about her father. He was off cheating on her mother with some young, blonde female at the moment. So, why should she care about her father? Indeed. Thoughts of her dysfunctional family werent' about to ruin her day. With a free period, she had made plans to meet with her best friend ever, Wyatt Weasley, just because. With classes and other things, the two besties hadn't gotten to interact much. But today was different. Today felt lighter than most, as did she.
Actually, the sun was shining down today. It's soft rays were sprawled across the Grounds of Hogwarts, over the castle and warming it slightly. The grass looked greener, and the sky actually shown through as blue. Few clouds dotted the sky like cotton balls, soft and fluffy. Perfect for a day of cloud watching, they were. Lots of students were out on the Grounds between their breaks from classes. It was such a pretty day. Sunshine actually causes people to become happier; thus the lighter feeling around Hogwarts at the moment.
She trotted quickly down the steps from the large doors of Hogwarts and on to the grass of the Grounds, smiling a bit. Indeed, when this girl smiled it was POW beautiful, as Stripey described it. Her large bookback was slung around her thin shoulder, making her teeter with each step she took. So many books for classes and such, and some book just for pleasure. Everyday she would lug this thing to classes and back; it was a wonderful skulliosis was absent in her life. On a warm day like such, Rory Davies had her robe slung over her arm, standing in her school uniform, the blue tie she wore crooked. She stopped as she walked for a moment, enjoying the warm breeze. It blew her choppy brown hair back slightly, the straight thin pieces moving away from her large brown eyes. Tossing down her book bag and robes on the ground of the courtyard, Rory settled her small self on a bench, kicking her feet about as she awaited her fashionably late best friend.
