Name: Juliette, but I normally go by tealtiger. :3
Gender: Female.
Location: Jolly old England. =D
How I found you: Neopets advertisement board.

The Character: Basics
Full Name: Hazel Kamei.
Gender: Female.
Birth date: 7th July 1993.
Birth place: The Borders, Scotland.
Age: Thirteen.
Parents' names: Taku Kamei (age 34) and Orla Quirke (age 32).
House: Hufflepuff.
Year: Third year.
Siblings attending Hogwarts: None.
Siblings out of Hogwarts: Hana Kamei (age 9)
History: Orla Quirke was sorted into Ravenclaw whilst Harry Potter was in this third year, and she grew up in a Pureblood magical family. Like a lot of the Pureblood families, especially after Hogwarts was taken over by Lucius Malfoy, Orla's was rather unaccepting of those that were not as pure blooded as themselves. In fact, when Orla went on to marry a Muggle at the age of 18, just one year after she finished Hogwarts, she fell out of contact will all of them, even her brother and sister. Taku Kamei was a Japanese man, two years older than Orla, and had moved to England when he was very young. Despite being a Muggle, he was always an odd child - he had never stopped believing in fairy stories, that was certain. It was only natural that he should fall in love with someone with a magical flair, and despite obviously being shocked when Orla had her first child, Hazel, a year later and she explained the situation, he was proud. For as soon as Hazel was taken home, she began to express magical abilities herself. They named her Hazel, after Orla's grandmother.
Hazel was raised in the small Kamei family, and when she was four, the couple had another child, baby Hana. Shortly after Hana was born, the family moved to the borders of Scotland, where Hazel had been born and where lots of Orla's family lived. In fact, they were actually visiting her family when Hazel had been born. She grew up happily in a magical environment, and when she received her letter from Hogwarts, naturally her parents were very proud and she was sent to the school.
The Character: Appearance
Hair: Black, and quite long. Hazel often ties it up.
Eyes: Dark hazel-brown, like both of her parents.
Piercings/tattoos: Her ears used to be pierced, but she removed them and the holes have healed back over.
Celebrity name: Sayumi Michishige (a Japanese singer belonging to the most awesome J-Pop band, Morning Musume <3).
Celebrity picture: img.search.com/thumb/1/1b/Sayumimichi.jpg/180px-Sayumimichi.jpg and i15.photobucket.com/albums/a355/ilan_ruby/11035ol4.jpg.
Other: Hazel has a small mole on the left side, just below her mouth and cheek.
The Character: Personality
Likes: The sea, freedom, nature, being alone, drawing, reading, writing, singing, whispering, smiling, Japanese, music, Diagon Alley.
Dislikes: English music, not reading for 24 hours, being away from loved ones, ignorant people.
Good qualities: Like all Hufflepuffs, Hazel has a fierce love for friends, and will never betray them for anything. Brave and good-hearted, she's generally the one that people can depend on, and she's always has a shoulder for someone to come and cry on.
Bad qualities: Hazel tends to be indesiscive, and sometimes can be too sensitive for her own good. It often takes a while to get to know her, and she's also afraid of change - when she came to Hogwarts for the first time she was terribly homesick.
Personality: Hazel has qualities of both of her parents. Like Orla, a Ravenclaw, she is intelligent and intellectual, and thinks before she acts. Like her father, she loves the mysterious and the unknown, and with her being the blend of this she doesn't like knowing everything, and likes knowing that there are things she doesn't understand. Curious by nature, though, she often lets this get the better of her and can't help but venture into places she's never been. She dislikes crowds and loud noises, and hates it when other people are unhappy or arguing. In fact, sometimes she can't bear it so much she just gets up and exits the room. Raised on her father's, er... Japanese-ness, she has a liking for the language, culture and music. When she's very angry or unhappy, she'll sometimes slip into Japanese, as she was raised on a mixture of both languages. Because of her knowledge of the culture, she is always very polite and respectful.

RP sample: "Anything for the trolley, dear?" Hazel looked up at the old woman who pushed the trolley. According to rumour, she had been pushing around the trolley for a d**n good while - her mother had said that she was there was at school. Hazel concentrated and imagined being her mother, looking at the woman pushing the trolley, perhaps a little less grey around the hair. Opening her eyes hastily, she realised she'd zoned out again. The woman was staring at her, two pumpkin pasties clutched in her wrinkly hands. Hazel glanced at them, and then shook her head.
"Um... no thank you... I'm alright, thanks," she said, smiling. The woman blinked, smiled uncertainly back at the girl, and began pushing the trolley once more. Hazel heard her calling "anything for the trolley" a couple more times, and then sighed to herself. Safe! No pesky humans around, anyway.
"Isn't that right, Nezu-chan?" she crooned, looking down at her lap, where a skinny-looking black rat perched, staring fixedly at Hazel's lunch her mother had prepared for her to take with her on the train. "No pesky humans, righ- no, no, no, that's not rat food, that's my food! Get your paws off that, Nezumi!" Picking up the rat, she placed him back onto her lap, as he had scurried over stealthily to the lunch. "Hmm... I think we might be almost there. Good thing I changed early, isn't it?"
Sure enough, she had changed into her Hogwarts cloak, emblazoned with the Hufflepuff crest. Smiling down at it proudly, she sighed and turned to gaze out of the window, humming a random tune from a song. Having grown up in two worlds; muggle and magical, she missed her mp3 player that she had left behind. With all the Death Eaters around, she had never been in a free Hogwarts. Mercilessly bullying wasn't something she fancied, anyway.
"Hmm... oh, look! I can see the castle from here..."
