Full Name: Raighne Alecsander Weasley
Age: 17
Parents' Names: Percival (Percy) Weasley and Penelope Weasley-Clearwater
House at Hogwarts: Ravenclaw
Year at Hogwarts: Seventh
Gender: Male
History: Raighne was brought up in his brother's shadow. His parents expected him to be just like his brother, whom his parents thought perfect. He was never close to his parents because of that. They were always saying 'Oh, why can't you do that like Roger? Why can¡¯t you be like Roger?' It was always Roger this, Roger that, Oh Raighne, I wish you were more like Roger. Raighne hated this, and it caused a rift between parents and son.
Before Hogwarts, Raighne attended a private muggle primary school, where kids ridiculed him because of his glasses. Hey, it was not his fault he did not have perfect eyesight. And he was really quite handsome if you really looked at him. Unfortunately, children at the school had been prejudice against people with glasses, stereotyping them as nerds, so Raighne did not have many friends. Raighne was fed up with this behavior the summer before Hogwarts, and persuaded his parents to get him contacts, so he could start again at Hogwarts. That was when they still liked him.
The one thing Raighne was better at then his brother was academics. Raighne prided himself on his grades, which were quite high. Of course, he tried hard too. It was natural with parents who pushed you to meet their standards. However, Raighne's parents, unlike most parents, did not care all that much about grades, so he did not get much praise from them. He did from his fellow classmates, and Raighne was proud of that.
Like his private muggle school, when Raighne came to Hogwarts, he did not have many friends. His cautious manner did not appeal to most of the students, who also expected someone more like his so-called perfect brother, Roger Weasley. As he advanced through the years, Raighne made some friends when he began looking at the more shy and kept back people. That is where he found his real friends.
Like his brother, Raighne loved quidditch. Sure, he was not a natural like his brother, Mr. Perfect Quidditch Captain, but he was good. His brother accounted for a lot of his skill. You see, unlike Raighne's parents, Roger Weasley accepted his younger brother. He noticed Raighne's love for quidditch, and taught him to play. Roger was a quidditch chaser, so Raighne pursued that ambition. He turned out to be a fair beater, as well, so he liked both, though chaser would always be his favourite position, because of his brother's teaching.
Despite the age difference, Raighne and his brother are very close. Apart from quidditch, Roger taught Raighne how to attract girls, which he never tired to do, mind you, as well as do many other things. He often stood up for Raighne in front of their parents, who backed off a little when they saw that Roger liked his younger brother. They still harassed Raighne about his imperfectness when Roger was not around, but did not do it much around him.

Overall Personality: Raighne was brought up in his brother's shadow, and this caused his self-esteem to be low. It is hard to put up with all the 'why can't you be just like...?' questions and put-downs. If it were not for Raighne's brother, he might have thought about suicide. But then again, if it were not for Raighne's brother, he parents might not have had such high expectations, and settled for him the way he was.
Because of his parents, Raighne tends to be rather cautious of whom he hangs around with, whom he considers friends, and whom he trusts his secrets to. He knows he can tell his brother anything, but he does not know about other people. He does not socialize much, so he does not talk to the more shy kids, but he does not trust the loud and outgoing kids. He is afraid they will expect more of him than he can do, and likes people who accept him the way he is. He's started to open up more as the years have gone by, though.
Raighne uses writing to vent out his anger towards prejudice people and people with far too high of expectations. A lot of his writing is about girls proving themselves in society. Raighne believes that girls should have more rights, and that they are not as free as men are, even if the laws about women have grown less strict. In some countries, women have to wear veils, and in others, men completely controlled their wives and daughters. Even in places that do not have those rules, it is almost impossible for a woman to get into a high place in society, because people are prejudice towards women because of the past, and it would be extremely hard to change that. And Raighne wants to do just that.
However cautious he may be, Raighne loves to take on challenges. He has confidence things will change, even if he does not have confidence in himself. He even has a notebook where he writes all things that he would like to change. If he ever became Minister of Magic, those are the things he would try to change.
Raighne's writing is deeply influential, and most people who read it change their views and opinions about things Raighne wrote about. He writes many essays for no reason, and even has a novel started, despite his young age. He is a very good writer, and plans to be just that when he grows up, writing fiction and non-fiction books for wizards and muggles alike.
Drawing is also one of Raighne's hobbies, and he is not bad at it. He plans to illustrate his books when he is older, and has already done a few illustrations for the book he is currently working on. People who look at his drawings say they are good for a thirteen year old. His parents once said his drawings were terrible, and his perfect brother did much better ones, which caused Raighne to have less confidence in his drawing them writing. Even his formidable parents had not said anything about his writing.
Raighne has an interesting approach to making friends. As I said earlier, Raighne is cautious about who he hangs around with. The thing is, he can usually tell which people are dangerous, and which people are all right, kind of a sixth sense kind of thing. However, this causes him to be quite judging. And though his first impressions of people are generally right, he has been proven wrong a few times. He is a great listener, and keeps people's secrets well. He tries to make friends with people who are not noticed by many people. He believes that they will be more loyal than those who already have many friends.

What It Is: Intro
What Genre It Is: Harry Potter Past
Where It's From: I'm not exactly sure. I had it saved to my computer from a while ago, and yeah. It's Remus from Harry Potter past, probably from some neopets rolepaly way back when.
Roleplaying Sample: Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
The steps of a certain brown hair Gryffindor ran in the hallways as he headed up to the Gryffindor common room. The boy was just finishing his patrolling, a part of being a prefect which he did not like. More footsteps echoed off the floor as another approached him.
He squinted, his vision unusually sharp. He supossed it was because of his being a werewolf. The eyesight was probably the only good thing that came from it. The pain and suffering was not at all pleasant, nor was the thought that he just might bite or hurt a person that happened to come near him during his transformation. He worried for his friends, his fellow marauders, as well. Them becoming animagi for him? Something could have gone seriously wrong, and he came across himself thinking of dreadful possiblilties of fates for his friends. Like now, for instance. He quickly shooed the thoughts out of his mind and blinked at the approaching figure. It was still too far to make out. Remus was about to call out when he saw it turned a corner. He sighed, bringing a pale hand through his light brown hair, and continued to walk.
Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
The footsteps were rather irritating, especially when one is all alone in the dark halls of a seemily deserted school. Remus was getting a little spooked as he climbed the steps of one of the many staircases leading up to the fourth floor, or maybe it was the fifth, it was hard to tell. What if the staircase moves? The worrisome boy thought to himself. What if I trip and fall off the staircase? Okay, so he wasn't clumsy, but still... He might have tripped on his robes, but surely, falling off the staircase was exteremely unlikely, if it were even possible with the four foot railings. Well, he'd have to try really hard to fall off, but still, it was an unsettling thought.
He reached the top of the staircase without so much as a stumble, as breathed a sigh of relief. Only three more staircases to go, he thought to himself, trying to be comforting in the lonely darkness. The thought was scary, however, as the thought of three more staircases in the dark was overwhelming. He didn't even think to use his magic. He didn't want to play with fire at this hour. There were torchs on the wall illuminating the cobblestone floors of the school of witchcraft, and an eerie glow came up from under some doors. he didn't stop to investigate any of these, however, for Remus wanted to get up to that common room as soon as possible.
The next two staircases went by in a blur, just him thinking about his studies and walking in silence. On the third and final staircase, Remus tripped, and let out a rather loud gasp as he fell to his knees. He got up, and weakly told himself that he hadn't fallen off the staircase, before running up the final staircase leading up to the almost invisable portrait of the fat lady, glad that his quest was over. Well, it wasn't so much a quest as it was a confindence test. In Remus' case, he had failed. Badly.
"Firewhiskey." He muttered, entering the common room after stating the password. He looked around, not expecting to see anyone. It was usually deserted around this time of night, when he came back from his prefect duties. Tonight, he was suprised to see two girls, those whos names he had stupidly forgotten. Or maybe it was time of night. In anycase, he settled down in his usual spot by the fire and pulled out a book, noting that one girl was resting, and the other was doing something in a notebook.
He read the first two lines of the page before his vision begave to blur, and he snapped the book shut. He supposed it would do better to either chat, or go to bed at this moment, as he was find it hard to read. He decided on the chatting. Or, if they didn't want to chat, the sleeping. He decided to address the girl who was working in her notebook first. "Hello." He said, nodding his head towards the girl. The word was plain, yet effective, and commonly used in speech. Well, his speech, that is.[/size]
